I’ve always looked at nature for inspiration, but lately, through my contemporary textured paintings, I’ve been paying attention to it a little differently.
A colour combination, the shape of a flower, the way a few leaves overlap, a tiny detail that makes me stop for a moment. This new series is my way of collecting those moments.
Not really painting nature as I see it, but trying to capture the feeling it leaves behind — the joy, curiosity, and sense of connection that comes from noticing something beautiful.
A bit like unexpectedly hearing your favourite song.
